THE CHRISTIAN COACH - FARAYADE NAOMI

A young lad was once asking some questions about the life of a Christian. The lad seems perplexed about the journey and the guides on the journey.

So, a brethren answered him saying that "upon the Ascension of our Lord Jesus Christ, he promised to send a comforter that will accompany us on this journey, for as many that will wait on this comforter in the upper chamber.

This comforter is our coach, the third person of the Trinity, he coaches us on the track of life. And just as an earthy coach calls back any player back to his senses whenever he's missing it on the field, so also our coach calls us back whenever we are doing anything outside of the will of the father
Our coach do not put on earthly armours. What he put on are shoes of fire, he's putting on the belt of authority, the sound of his whistle is that of comfort, His stockings are those of meekness.
Yeah, our coach is not girded as of mere mortals.

If we want to train with him, we meet him daily in our training ground (our secret place) And then we as players too, must always put on our gear. Our sneakers should be those of fellowship, we must put on shin guards of consistency, our shorts are those of Prayer, and verily he'll put on us, the vest of Epignosis.
Nay, we don't put on earthly armours.

Unlike an earthly coach, our coach do not train our muscles so that they can get used to the rigours of the field, but our tongues are trained to get used to the utterances of his presence, and Kaii, our minds are trained to delight in the ecstasy of his words.

It is important not to miss a day with our coach because we just get strengthened by every bit of time we spend with him, it is comforting to be with him, and a gentle aura pervades his vicinity. The spirit of fellowship with him increases with time and consistency.

Our coach desires to have a deep relationship for as many that thirst for his presence. Intimacy with him makes you brand new, you can seek his opinion on small matters to big life changing decisions. He answers you, after all, he is your coach.
Or perhaps acknowledge him as your coach and you can have the right directives to embark on your journey.

It is important to note that, we can't go to our coach complete, all we need to do is open our weaknesses to him and he'll strengthen us where we are weak. He knows the right word at the right time. When we are missing it, he points it out to us, but if we fail to listen, he'll leave. When we do things that grieves him, he leaves. But when we fellowship with him in truth, our Friendship gets deeper.

Insincerity, Hypocrisy, Pride, slander and disobedience grieves him. And when he's grieved, he leaves.
Now, you don't want to go on with your journey alone without your coach. So don't grieve him.
