THE TRUE BEAUTY OF A WOMAN - FOLORUSO FRANCISCA OLOLADE

Everyone, particularly, women are fascinated with beauty. There are competitions of all kinds to determine who is the most beautiful. 

Makers of beauty products and cosmetics spend millions of dollars to promote beauty pageant. The Miss World beauty is one of the largest in across the world. Women spend huge amount of money on makeup, fashionable clothing, jewellery and all kinds of aesthetics.

  But in spite of all the attention, what is the true beauty of woman? What is it that makes a woman genuinely attractive? Many feel unattractive because they don't meet a certain image to which they have aspired. Others are constantly frustrated, while trying to get someone to notice how attractive they are.
 No scientist has ever been able to make a woman. No doctor has been able to create a woman. No engineer has been able to build a woman. No potter has been able to model a woman as beautiful as the one God created in His image.

  We must learn to thank God for who we are. Don't be a foolish woman watching television and crying because you don't look like the girl who acted in a movie. Remember, she was custumed. You are beautifully made by God. If He had wanted you to like those on tv, he would have made u like that. So be encouraged. God will send somebody along who will appreciate you the way you are.

 While you are waiting, start appreciating yourself. Remind yourself, "I am valuable to God". I am somebody and I can't be treated like a Nobody". Yes! I've been through bad times, I've been hurt and I've been pushed to the wall. I've also come to my wits end at some point, but the Lord touched me and loosed me, and now I am glorifying God and I'm not going back to where I came from.

 Furthermore, there is an important lesson to learn from the account of Sampson and Delilah in the old testament. Judges 16. The Philistines were his enemies, but they could not kill Samson, until they found a door. The door was named Delilah. It was not Delilah's beauty that captivated him. It was not even her sexuality that destroyed Sampson. He had known beautiful women before, he had slept with prostitutes. What got Samson is what I call, Delilah syndrome. There is nothing in Scripture to prove that Delilah was beautiful. Maybe she was, but what got Samson was her understanding of the man.

Beauty and sex appeal are not the areas to concentrate on. Because when you focus on the wrong areas, you don't get the right results. Society teaches us ladies that if we have the right hair, the right face, the right shape, the right clothes and the right car, that we will get the right man. Then once you have this, you can expect you will buy the right house, children, live a good life and live happily ever after. But this is simply not true. Life is not a fairy tale.
 
  God put some things into the feminine spirit that a man needs more than anything God put on the feminine body. If a woman know who she is on the inside, no matter what she looks like, she will have no problem being attractive to a man. If she knows her own self-worth, then when she come before that man, he will receive her.

  The enemy want you to be so focused on your outer appearance so that you won't recognize your inner beauty, your inner strength, your inner glory. Your real value cannot be bought, applied, added on, or laid on your neck. Your real strength is in more than mere outward apparel and adornment for men. This real thing that causes a man to need you so desperately that he wants to be near you, is not what is on the outside of you, but what is in you.

 You need to recognize what God has deposited in you. When God formed the woman, he didn't just creat her physical appearance. He decorated the inside of the woman. He put beauty in her spirit.
You will not win your husband through lip service. You will win him through the inward adornment of your beautiful lifestyle. He will see how you are; Not what you say. He will watch how you act, Your disposition and attitude. You can not witness to a man and win a him while he sits up and listen to you gossip about others. Your husband should behold your chaste lifestyle. Chastity should be your watchword. A woman can win a man by respecting him.
