The Nigerian student that develop technology for the visually impaired has develop another technology for the STROKE PATIENT/DEAF MUTE

Seyi Ojelabi is an undergraduate student of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), from the department of Computer Science and Engineering. Seyi Ojelabi mostly known as SHYNE has come up with this technology called "S2T" to aid STROKE PATIENT and also enhance communication between the DEAF MUTE and just any individual in the society.

The technology is an IOT(internet of things) implemented with a mobile application that convert hand sign to text via smartphone with voice over function, that could be translated in other languages.

The technology was tested at THE SCHOOL FOR THE HANDICAP OGBOMOSO and was further attested by DR. OLADEJI @MAINSPRING HOSPITAL.

Seyi said he got inspired to develop "S2T" technology through a life story of someone whose mum happened to be diagnose as a result of stroke. She defecate consciously without notice or sign, she could not move or speak, can only make gestures.

She later died as a result of fear! Fear to loose adaptability, self care, accessibility, others living for her. He then tried to implement a technology to address this real life society issue.
