LAUTECH Students room got burnt overnight

 

Earlier this morning, the LAUTECH Student Union received a distress call that two rooms at COMFORT, OYENIKE HOSTEL, AROJE was set on fire with their properties by unknown men.

According to the students who are occupants of the hostel, the students made it known to them that this is the second time the unfortunate incident will be happening to them as there were perpetrators of this act.

Furthermore, they revealed that they were away overnight in preparation for the exams while this incident occurred. And some unknown men set their rooms on fire which led to loss of properties. 3months ago, a room in the same hostel had also been set on fire. And all in the same way.

While sympathezing with the affected students, the Students’ Union President, Comrade Adeboye Anuoluwa, in his magnanimity to curb further reoccurrence has instructed the Landlord to do a refund for the occupants to relocate and then further investigations will be carried out to bring the perpetrators of this act into book and see to the losses of the affected students.
